Working with Joe was an absolute pleasure. He came recommended from a friend who said he was trustworthy, creative, and budget conscious. The friend was right on all accounts. Joe is a straight shooter, finished the project on time, and came up with creative ways to solve problems. He remodeled 2 bathrooms, some work in the kitchen and about 30 other smaller details I came up with over the course of the project. He gently recommended a few other things I might consider, and when I thought about it overnight, I knew he was right. Very happy I listened to him. During the project, high winds unexpectedly blew the old skylight off my house. The skylight was not one of the intended projects, but Joe’s crew was out immediately, sealed the opening to prevent rain from coming in, and within a week Joe had installed a new and improved skylight. His crew and subs were also a pleasure to interact with. 5 stars.

We have used Devine Construction twice. Both times were very positive experiences. Joe was sensitive to our desires and his crews were top notch. The jobs went smoothly, even ahead of schedule. If there was a problem or a small addition to the job, they took care of it. We would highly recommend Devine Construction.

I’ve known Joe since he was young guy working as a carpenter and a few years later starting out in business. I recommended him then as a carpenter to work for a contractor I knew. This guy later told me he was the best worker he’s ever had. As of today, it does not surprise me to read the following accolades in Yelp. He recently did a rehab of a rental house for me in Marin county (windows, doors, flooring, decking, fence). As usual, did a great job, on time, good price too! Being an ex-contractor it’s not easy recommending other contractors but I would have no qualms or reservations recommending Joe.

Our project was not an easy one. It included a 100 year old home that needed to be updated a portion at a time. Not to mention that it was also in the historic district of Napa which just added to importance of doing things right. (Especially by the City) Joe did great!!! Not only did he deal with the city and their demands but he also came through on quality. We had intricate molding details and consistant changes that couples will typically have and he not only maintained his cool but was more than willing to be flexible and aide with what ever questions we had regarding our choices. We would recommend Devine Construction for whatever your new construction or remodeling challenges are.

I found Devine construction through Yelp and he did a first rate job from start to finish. I would gladly use him again in the future and would recommend his services to anyone. We had a water pipe in our attic burst and ended up having to replace our floor, the walls and a good section of our ceiling. I called Joe Devine and he got to work right away. He did a beautiful job of making sure that our ceiling and walls matched the rest of the house. Our floor came also came out just as beautiful. We used bamboo and the seams, as well as the finish are cut well and tight. The best part is that Devine Construction is very thorough about cleaning up and there were no scraps or messes around. Joe Devine takes a lot of pride in his work. Hire him if you want the job done right the first time. Thanks Joe for giving my family back our home!
